InfoComm Technology Officer (School)

Job Scope:

  • Assist in developing, reviewing, and teaching of computer education program to secondary school students in the following areas:
    • Microsoft Office Certification
    • Adobe CS6 Education
    • Programming language (JavaScript or equivalent e.g. Python, Swift using Swift Playgrounds or equivalent online platforms)
    • Computational Thinking, reasoning and problem-solving using ICT equipment (e.g. LEGO Mindstorms, Micro:Bit etc)
    • Teaching and Learning platforms (Teams, Class Notebook, etc.)
    • And others relevant applications
  • Assist in student training for creating videos, graphic posters and animations
  • Provide support and coordinate competitions related to multimedia
  • Assist in planning and training staff during workshops / seminars
  • Provide maintenance for photography equipment
  • Provide technical support to client for their programmes and events:
    • Collateral materials for programmes, events and external collaborations
    • Photography and videography support
    • Multimedia resources for teaching and learning
  • Any other duties as assigned

 

Job Skills:

  • Proficient in conducting ICT-related training and workshops in the following areas as well as proficient in video production:
    • Microsoft Office Suites (including Teams and OneNote Class Notebook)
    • Video Editing
    • Coding
  • Preferably 3 years working experience in providing computer enrichment program in a school environment
  • Proficient in:
    • Microsoft Office suites , Adobe CS 6 Education
    • Designing software (InDesign, Dreamweaver, Flash etc)
    • Video creation software (iMovie, GarageBand, Final Cut etc)
    • Programming language (JavaScript or equivalent e.g. Python, Swift using Swift Playgrounds or equivalent online platforms)
    • School Teaching and Learning platforms (Teams, Class Notebook, etc.)
    • School website content development through SWIIIT
  • Has experience in various multimedia and programming projects
  • Has initiative and able to work independently and good team player

 

Working Hours:

  • Monday ~ Thursday, 8:00am to 5:30pm
  • Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm

Excludes Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays.
